Kumho Engineering & Construction Faces KRW28.1 Billion Damages Lawsuit from Housing Association

Kumho Engineering & Construction (KRX:002990) is being sued by the Ansung Dangwang District Housing Association for 28.2 billion won in damages, according to a bourse filing on Monday.

The plaintiff seeks the claimed amount plus interest at 12% per annum from the day after delivery of the amended claim and cause documents until full payment, with litigation costs to be borne by the defendant and provisional execution permitted.

The claimed amount represents 11.6% of the company's equity capital of 242.5 billion won, based on the 2025 consolidated financial statements adjusted for subsequent capital changes.

Kumho Construction plans to actively respond through its legal representatives.
