Kneat.com's (KSI.TO) shareholders approved the plan for the company to be acquired by an affiliate of Thoma Bravo, it said Thursday.
The company's shareholders approved the previously announced proposed transaction with approximately 87% of votes cast in favor. The transaction remains subject to certain customary closing conditions, the company said.
"With Thoma Bravo's partnership, operational expertise and deep software sector experience, we will be well-positioned to accelerate Kneat's industry-leading position in digital validation and quality process automation," said Chair of the Special Committee of the Board of Directors, Carol Leaman.
Kneat is based in Limerick, Ireland.
The company's shares were last seen unchanged at C$6.48 on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
