KHPT Unit Secures Components Supply Deal from Proton

KHPT (KLSE:KHB) unit Automev Global bagged a letter of acceptance from Perusahaan Otomobil Nasional (PROTON) to supply automotive structural components for a new vehicle model.

The letter was accepted on May 16, and the company was allowed by Proton to announce the deal on June 16, the filing said.

The deal will remain valid for the model's lifecycle, unless extended or terminated, according to a Thursday Malaysian bourse filing.

KHPT said the contract is expected to generate about 155 million ringgit in revenue over its duration and will contribute positively to earnings.

Teco Electric and Machinery (TPE:1504) TECNOS International Consulting acquired the right to use office space in Taipei, Taiwan, for NT$22.4 million, according to a Thursday Taiwan Exchange filing.Shares gained about 2% in Friday's late morning trade.The assets will be purchased from related party Tong-An Assets Development & Management.The lease term runs from July 1, 2026, to June 30, 2032, and the office space will be used to meet operational requirements.
