Khen Energy's (SGX:YSV) step-down subsidiary WKV Hydro Technics commissioned the Galle Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) in Sri Lanka on Sept. 10, according to a Thursday filing with the Singapore stock exchange.
The contract from the National System Operator, formerly known as Ceylon Electricity Board, was to build, own and operate a 10 MW/40 MWh stand-alone BESS connected to the Galle grid substation for 15 years.

Lotus Pharmaceutical's (TPE:1795) subsidiary, Lotus International, will reduce its capital by $70 million, according to a Wednesday filing with the Taiwan Exchange.The reduction involves the cancellation of 70 million shares as part of the group's capital utilization plan.Following the reduction, Lotus International's share capital will stand at $16.1 million.
