Kelt Exploration (KEL.TO) reported second-quarter net income of C$0.22 per share, up from C$0.16 a year earlier.
Analysts polled by FactSet expected C$0.22.
Sales for the three months ended June 30 surged to C$222.2 million from C$116.4 million in the previous year.
Kelt recorded production of 50,388 barrels of oil equivalent per day (boe/d), up from 38,734 boe/d a year ago.
The company raised its guidance for 2026 adjusted funds from operations to C$410 million from $400 million. It left its capital-spending guidance at C$375 million but said it may "increase capital expenditures during the remainder of the year to get an earlier start to accelerate production growth in 2027".
The company's shares last traded Wednesday, closing at C$9.64 on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
