Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha (TYO:9107) said it concluded a 17.50 billion yen buyback, repurchasing about 6.7 million common shares, according to a Monday filing on the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
The repurchases were conducted through off-auction own share repurchase trading and auction market between July 1 and July 31 on the Tokyo Stock Exchange under the 130 billion yen share buyback launched on June 1.
The program runs through September 30 and includes the repurchases of about 44.4 million shares, equivalent to 6.96% of its outstanding shares, excluding treasury stock.
