Kandi Technologies Subsidiary Lands CATL Battery Swap Station Order; Shares Fall Pre-Bell

Kandi Technologies' (KNDI) wholly owned China Battery Exchange unit received an order from CATL's QIJI Energy to supply equipment for 18 heavy-truck battery swap stations, the company said Monday.

The company said it will provide equipment and deployment services for the stations, with the order marking the first commercial procurement under its partnership with QIJI Energy.

Kandi added the order supports CATL's plan to build about 900 heavy-truck battery swap stations by the end of 2026 and is expected to strengthen its order pipeline.

Kandi Technologies shares were down over 21% in premarket activity Monday.
