Kamigumi Co (TYO:9364) is boosting its Vietnam subsidiary's capital by 200 billion dong to 650 billion dong, making it a specified subsidiary representing over 10% of the parent's capital, according to a Tokyo bourse filing on Friday.
The move comes after the company revised its original plan from a general warehouse to include a cold storage facility, pushing projected construction costs beyond initial estimates.
The subsidiary, established in May and fully owned by Kamigumi, will now develop both a general warehouse and a cold storage warehouse at the same site in Ho Chi Minh City.
Construction is slated to begin in April 2027, with completion expected by September 2028.
