JPMorgan Chase (JPM) said Monday that it has added new features to its Sapphire Preferred card.
The new features include receiving 3 times points on gas and electrical vehicle charging, three times points on vacation homes offered by Airbnb and Vrbo, among others. Cardmembers will also receive a $100 Chase Travel Hotel Credit each year, up from $50, as well as a credit of up to $120 toward Global Entry, TSA PreCheck, or NEXUS every four years.
The lender said the new benefits will be available for card holders effective Monday.
JPMorgan also said Monday that it has expanded its $1.5 trillion, 10-year Security and Resiliency Initiative to Canada.
The initiative is intended to facilitate, finance, and invest in five key areas: supply chain and advanced manufacturing; defense and aerospace; energy independence and resilience; frontier and strategic technologies; and pharma and healthcare technology, the company said.
Shares of JPMorgan Chase were up close to 1%.
