Jiangsu Lopal Tech (SHA:603906) controlled unit LBM AP will invest about 1.09 billion yuan to build a lithium iron phosphate (LFP) cathode material plant in Indonesia.
The project will have an annual production capacity of 120,000 tons of second- and third-generation lithium iron phosphate cathode materials, according to a Thursday filing with the Shanghai bourse.
The 12-month construction period will start in July.
Shares of the automotive specialty chemicals rose 1% in recent trade.
