Business confidence among Japan's largest non-manufacturing companies improved in the second quarter, with the headline Large Non-Manufacturers Index coming in at 37 points, according to the Bank of Japan's (BOJ) quarterly Tankan survey released on Wednesday.
The reading, which measures how confident large non-manufacturing business leaders feel about the economy in the coming quarter, beat the consensus forecast of 36 tracked by Investing.com, and compared with the 36 points recorded in the first quarter.
