Japan Airlines (TYO:9201) posted an 80% year-over-year decline in attributable profit for the fiscal first quarter to 5.35 billion yen from 27.1 billion yen.
EPS was 9.09 yen, compared with 60.04 yen a year earlier, according to a Tokyo bourse filing on Monday.
Revenue rose 11% to 523.7 billion yen from 471.1 billion yen for the three months ended June 30.
For the fiscal year ending March 31, 2027, the company expects attributable profit of 110 billion yen and revenue of 2.095 trillion yen.
The airline plans to pay interim and year-end dividends of 48 yen per share each for the current year.
Shares of the airline were up nearly 1% in recent trade.
