Itoham Yonekyu Holdings (TYO:2296) said it has signed a deal to acquire all issued share capital of New Zealand's Greenlea Group for NZ$800 million, according to a Thursday release.
The Japanese processed meat manufacturer said the transaction will be conducted through its consolidated subsidiary ANZCO Foods, strengthening its meat business in New Zealand.
The transaction is subject to regulatory and legal conditions and is expected to be completed by the end of August.
