ispace Signs $1 Million Contract to Transport Lunar Container to Moon

ispace (TYO:9348) signed an agreement worth $1 million with JALUX, a Japan Airlines (TYO:9201) trading company, to transport a dedicated lunar container called Mobius Ark to the moon's surface, according to a Tokyo bourse filing on Tuesday.

The agreement follows a memorandum of understanding signed in November 2025 among ispace and three JAL Group companies to explore collaboration in lunar transportation and operations.

The payload, which carries cultural artifacts, is expected to be launched on ispace's Mission 3 scheduled for 2028.

Aerospace Intelligent Manufacturing Technology (SHE:300446) obtained 53 patent certificates from China's intellectual property management agency, according to a Tuesday disclosure to the Shenzhen bourse.Ten of them are invention patents, including a bumper paint detection device and a car bumper injection mold.The company also obtained 35 utility model patents, including a gantry mechanism for injection mold hydraulic cylinders, and eight are design patents.
