Iran Reportedly Restores 50% of South Pars Gas Capacity

Iran has restored about 50% of the production capacity at the heavily damaged South Pars gas field, several media outlets reported on Wednesday.

Deputy Oil Minister Ahmad Zeraatkar said the energy facility which was forced partially offline following a military strike in March, has been meeting its scheduled targets after reaching a 40% recovery milestone in late August, the reports noted.

Ministry officials stated that all remaining restoration measures are on track to be fully completed prior to the onset of winter, according to the reports.

The South Pars facility did not immediately reply to' request for comment.
