International Frontier, Kinjal Close Initial Tranche of Equity Financing

International Frontier Resources (IFR.V) reported the closing of the initial tranche of a previously announced subscription receipt equity private placement offering, raising C$31.8 million in proceeds.

The offering was launched in connection with Kinjal's proposed reverse takeover of International Frontier. The second close is expected on July 27, the oil and gas company said Friday.

In total, International Frontier expects to raise up to C$40 million in proceeds from the offering. International Frontier plans to use the proceeds to fund its proposed asset transactions in Mexico, as well as for working capital and general corporate purposes.

Cineplex Reports C$55.8 Million June Box Office Revenue; Q2 Reaches C$176.2 Million

Cineplex (CGX.TO) after trade Thursday said it generated C$55.8 million in box office revenue in June, compared with C$51.8 million a year ago.For the second quarter, box office revenue totaled C$176.2 million, up from C$158.5 million in the second quarter of 2025, the company said, adding that "through the first half of 2026, the strength of the slate was evident, with more 2026 releases surpassing $200 million at the domestic box office than in any year since 2018. June further contributed to this momentum, delivering the highest June box office performance since 2019".Toy Story 5 delivered the largest domestic opening weekend of the year, while Obsession and Backrooms were among the quarter's biggest breakout successes. Looking ahead, Chief Executive Ellis Jacob said that there is strong early demand for The Odyssey and Spider-Man: Brand New Day.

Tilray Brands Unit Launches First Medical Cannabis Product in Panama

Tilray Brands' (TLRY.TO) Tilray Medical unit said Thursday it launched its first medical cannabis product in Panama.The launch follows the shipment of Tilray Oral Solution CBD100 from the company's EU-GMP-certified production facility in Portugal through its joint venture with Solana Life Group. The product will be distributed through Farmacias Arrocha, one of Panama's pharmacy chains, and will be available to patients by prescription, the company said.The solution is "intended for use, where authorized, in patients with qualifying medical conditions authorized under Panamanian legislation," the company added.
