Intermap Technologies (IMP.TO) appointed Michael Rolland to its board of directors, it said Tuesday.
Rolland was previously chief executive officer of the Ontario Municipal Employees Sponsors Corporation (OMERS), said the company.
He has also served as the first chief investment officer of OMERS Private Markets, chief operating officer of OMERS Asia Pacific, and chief executive of Borealis Infrastructure, which is now known as OMERS Infrastructure, added Intermap.
"His experience financing strategically important assets, developing investment platforms and building relationships across governments and institutional investors will strengthen Intermap as we continue expanding our geospatial intelligence platform and pursuing new opportunities around the world," said Chief Executive Officer Patrick Blott.
The company's shares were last seen down C$0.02 to C$0.96 on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
