Intel (INTC) shares were up almost 9% in Thursday's premarket activity after President Donald Trump said Apple (AAPL) has "agreed to work with Intel to design and build its Chips in America."
In his Truth Social post early Thursday, Trump brought up Nvidia (NVDA) and Tesla's (TSLA) partnerships with Intel, helping with his cause to bring manufacturing back to the US.
Nvidia and Intel unveiled in September plans to jointly develop custom datacenter and personal computer products. In April, Intel said it joined the Terafab project to "help refactor silicon fab technology."
