Inomin Mines (MINE.V) has staked a new mineral claim covering about 1,128-hectares near the Beaver-Lynx polymetallic project in British Columbia.
After securing government approval, the claim will become subject to an earn-in and joint venture agreement between Inomin and Sumitomo Metal Mining Canada, Inomin said Tuesday.
The management committee of the Beaver-Lynx project will evaluate whether to include the claim in the project. If the claim is not included, Inomin said it will gain exclusive ownership of the property.
"The new claim represents a highly efficient expansion of Beaver-Lynx," said John Gomez, Inomin's president and chief executive officer. "By staking this magnetic anomaly, we position Inomin to leverage the same geological hallmarks driving our exploration successes."
