International Business Machines (IBM) reported Q2 adjusted earnings late Wednesday of $2.93 per diluted share, up from $2.80 a year earlier.
Analysts polled by FactSet expected $2.95.
Revenue in the three months ended June 30 rose to $17.16 billion from $16.98 billion a year earlier.
Analysts expected $17.48 billion.
The company now expects full-year constant currency revenue growth in the range of 4% to 5%.
IBM shares rose 3.8% in after-hours trading.
