HydroGraph Clean Power Announces Opening of New Austin, TX Headquarters; Shares up 4.3%

HydroGraph Clean Power (HG.CN) on Tuesday announced the opening of its new Austin headquarters, having received its certificate of occupancy in March 2026.

"The new facility centralizes key executive and operating functions, as well as expands the Company's research and production capabilities in support of continued growth activities," said the company.

The company further said it is currently transitioning key equipment and resources from its Manhattan, KS facility to Austin, including scientific equipment, the detonation lab, Hyperion Reactors and other assets. It added that the detonation lab and first new Hyperion unit, which was qualified in Manhattan prior to transport, have already arrived on site in Austin.

The company said it plans to commence a second phase of construction at its Austin facility to support integration of these and other assets plus new acetylene storage for its Hyperion units.

"We are excited to officially open our new U.S. headquarters, a key milestone underpinning a substantial increase in our research, development and manufacturing capabilities," said Kjirstin Breure, President and Chief Executive Officer of HydroGraph. "In addition to centralizing key administrative functions into Texas, our new office will facilitate a notable expansion of our R&D capabilities, the operation of two active Hyperion Reactors on site, and serve as the control hub for our planned large-scale production facility that is anticipated to support up to 350 tons per year of capacity."

Shares of the company were last seen up $0.34 at $8.25 on the Canadian Securities Exchange.

AGF Management Names John Porter Chief Investment Officer

AGF Management (AGF-B.TO) after trade Monday said John Porter will become chief investment officer starting May 1.As CIO, Porter will lead the firm's investment team, set strategy, and focus on performance and risk management. He will report to Chief Executive Judy Goldring and join the executive management team, the company said."We are confident his leadership will unlock new opportunities, strengthen collaboration across our investment teams, and position AGF Investments for its next phase of growth," Goldring said.Porter most recently served as CIO at Newton Investment Management, part of BNY Investments. He previously held senior roles in equity investing and U.S. growth strategies after joining the firm in 2016, according to the statement.The company's shares closed up $0.19 to $20.02 on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
