Huatai Securities (SHA:601688, HKG:6886) guaranteed indirect unit Huatai International Financial's issuance of three tranches of medium-term notes totaling $175 million.
The issuance-comprising $100 million, $50 million and $25 million tranches-aims to support business development and working capital needs, according to a Thursday filing with the Shanghai bourse.
Shares of the company slid 2% in recent trade on the Shanghai bourse.
