Huaneng Power International (SHA:600011) sold 98.1 billion kilowatt-hours of power in the second quarter, down nearly 1% year over year, according to a Thursday filing with the Shanghai Stock Exchange.
The company's controlled generation capacity for the quarter reached 1,938 megawatts.
For the first half, power sales slid 3% to 199.6 billion kWh, while controlled generation capacity reached 3,040 megawatts.
Shares fell 2% in Shanghai during morning trading on Thursday.
