Huadian Power International (SHA:600027, HKG:1071) completed the issuance of science and technology bonds amounting to 3.59 billion yuan, according to a Shanghai bourse filing over the weekend.
The power company's Hong Kong and Shanghai shares both slipped 1% during Monday's morning trade.
The bonds were issued in two tranches, with the first tranche amounting to 1.99 billion yuan. It has a coupon rate of 1.60% and a maturity of two years, which can be extended.
The second tranche amounts to 1.60 billion yuan, has a coupon rate of 1.64%, and a maturity of three years, which can also be extended.
