HonPrecision (TPE:7769) signed a NT$780 million construction contract with Topro Construction for its Longshan Plant project on company-owned land, according to a Tuesday Taiwan Exchange filing.
Shares rose 5% in Wednesday's midday trade.
The contract is part of the NT$1.4 billion project budget approved by the board on June 15.
The project is intended to support the company's operational requirements, it said.
