The seasonally adjusted unemployment rate in Hong Kong stood at 3.8% for the three-month period from June to August, according to data from the Census and Statistics Department released on Thursday.
The reading compared with the 3.7% rate recorded in the previous three-month period.
The underemployment rate changed to 1.9%. Total employment rose by around 4,400 to about 3.7 million people, while the number of unemployed individuals grew by 8,200 to 153,900.
