Hokuhoku Financial Group (TYO:8377) posted a 65.9% year-over-year rise in attributable net income for the fiscal first quarter to 23.58 billion yen from 14.22 billion yen.
Basic EPS was 196.28 yen, compared with 116.30 yen a year earlier, according to a Tokyo bourse filing on Wednesday.
Ordinary income rose 30.3% to 77.86 billion yen from 59.75 billion yen for the three months ended June 30.
For the fiscal year ending March 31, 2027, the company expects attributable net income of 62 billion yen and basic EPS of 52.27 yen.
The banking group plans to pay interim and year-end dividends of 75 and 7.50 yen per share, respectively, for the current year.
