HLS Therapeutics (HLS.TO) said the Toronto Stock Exchange accepted its amended notice of intention related to its existing normal course issuer bid (NCIB).
According to the amendment, the number of shares that may be repurchased for cancellation under the NCIB will increase to around 1.87 million shares from 1.5 million shares, representing approximately 10% of the public float as of June 12, 2026, said the company on Thursday.
The NCIB will end on the earliest of the close of trading on June 24, 2027, the date on which HLS purchases the maximum number of shares permitted under the NCIB, or the date on which the company provides written notice of termination of the NCIB to the TSX, added the company.
Since the NCIB began, the company has repurchased for cancellation around 1.05 million shares so far, it added.
The company's shares were last seen up CA$0.05 at CA$4.00 on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
