Hirose Electric (TYO:6806) recorded a 1.4% rise in attributable profit in the first fiscal quarter to 7.33 billion yen from 7.23 billion yen a year prior.
Earnings per share were 224.03 yen, up from 213.58 yen in the year-ago period, according to a Tuesday Tokyo bourse filing.
The electrical connector supplier's revenue increased 27% to 62.1 billion yen from 49 billion yen previously.
The company forecasts an attributable profit of 35 billion yen, basic EPS of 1,069.63 yen, revenue of 250 billion yen, and a total dividend of 520 yen per share for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2027.
The company revised its forecast in an upward manner amid favorable foreign exchange trends and stronger-than-expected performance, according to a separate filing.
