HF Sinclair's (DINO) new $1.5 billion stock repurchase program signals that management is committing to a more shareholder-driven capital allocation strategy rather than treating current refining profits as temporary, UBS Securities said Thursday in a report.
By returning surplus free cash flow and reaffirming its payout priorities, HF Sinclair is delivering on earlier promises and reinforcing confidence in how it deploys capital, the report said.
UBS maintained its buy rating on HF Sinclair stock with a $105 price target.
