Helium Evolution (HEVI.V) raised C$25 million in a private placement of 166.7 million units, the company said Tuesday.
Each unit, priced at C$0.15, is comprised of one share and a three-year warrant to buy a share at C$0.30.
Proceeds will be used to develop the company's Saskatchewan helium assets.
Helium Evolution shares closed up C$0.03 at C$0.24 on the TSX Venture Exchange.
Calian Group (CGY.TO) after the close on Monday said it completed the acquisition of Galaxy Broadband Communications, a provider of satellite communications and remote connectivity solutions.On June 26, Calian announced a definitive agreement to acquire Galaxy Broadband from Crown Capital Partners. The acquisition was completed on the terms previously announced, including upfront consideration of approximately C$24 million, and an additional earnout consideration of C$27.5 million, Calian said.
Theralase Technologies (TLT.V) after trade Monday said it closed a C$3.6-million private placement, issuing 14.8-million units at C$0.24 each.Each unit includes a share and one warrant and a warrant expiring in May, 2031 with each warrant to buy another share for C$0.32.The company plans to use the funds to complete safety studies for its cancer treatment Rutherrin and its cold sore treatment Ruvidar, as well as for working capital and general corporate purposes, it said.The warrants are set to begin trading on the TSX Venture Exchange around Aug. 27, subject to final approval, according to the statement.
