Halliburton (HAL) said Monday it signed memorandums of understanding with Eneva and West-Construcciones, or WESCA, to pursue energy development opportunities in Venezuela.
Brazil-based Eneva will work with Halliburton to identify and pursue energy development opportunities in Venezuela, building on their existing business relationship in Brazil.
Halliburton will work with WESCA on field evaluation and development planning in Venezuela. The companies also use digital technologies and subsurface interpretation to assess reservoirs and support development decisions.
"We look forward to working with Eneva and WESCA to advance development opportunities and support the country's evolving energy sector," said Francisco Tarazona, Halliburton's senior vice president.
