H&R Real Estate Investment Trust (HR-UN.TO) on Wednesday reported second-quarter adjusted funds from operations of C$0.263 per share, compared with C$0.262 a year ago.
Analysts polled by FactSet expected AFFO per share of C$0.19.
Net income for the quarter ended June 30 stood at C$37.1 million, compared with a net loss of C$166.4 million a year earlier.
The results came a day after H&R REIT said it entered into an agreement under which GO Residential REIT (GO-U.TO) and a consortium of buyers, including funds affiliated with Blackstone Real Estate, Crestpoint Real Estate Investments and PSP Investments, will acquire all of H&R's assets in a cash-and-unit transaction valued at about C$6.7 billion, including the assumption of certain debt.
