Graphene Manufacturing Group (GMG.V) on Tuesday said it entered into an exclusive Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for testing and developing graphene products for the rail industry with Alstom.
Terms of the MOU were not disclosed. The companies plan to test and develop graphene products specifically for Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems for the rail industry, it said.
"This global exclusive MOU gives GMG the opportunity to bring our graphene technology into one of the largest and most technically demanding sectors in the world," said chief executive Craig Nicol.
Shares of Graphene Manufacturing were last seen up C$0.08, or 3.7%, to C$2.22 on the TSX Venture Exchange.
