The Government of Canada's (GoC) C$5 billion 10-year bond auction attracted solid investor demand on Wednesday, according to data on the Bank of Canada website.
The auction drew C$11.8 billion in bids, or 2.36 times the amount on offer, according to the BoC data.
The bonds sold at an average yield of 3.707%. Its maturity date is Dec. 1, 2036.
International investors received 35.8% of the bonds, while Canadian investors took 64.2%.
