GigaDevice Semiconductor (HKG:3986, SHA:603986) said that Chairman Zhu Yiming plans to buy at least 1 billion yuan of the company's A shares between Dec. 13, 2026 and July 29, 2027, according to a Wednesday Hong Kong bourse filing.
The development came after Zhu completed the sale of 11.1 million A shares, or 1.58% of the company's share capital, between May 6 and June 12 for about 4.4 billion yuan, reducing his direct stake to 4.94% from 6.53%.
Separately, Zhu undertook not to reduce his shareholding for 12 months from July 29, 2026.
He and the concert party InfoGrid Limited currently hold a combined 6.80% stake in the company.
