GiG Software Raises EUR9 Million to Fund 888 Africa Purchase

GiG Software (GIG-SDB.ST) said Wednesday it raised 8.5 million euros through a directed share issue and convertible loans to fund the initial consideration of its planned acquisition of a majority stake in 888 Africa.

Under the directed issue, the gaming technology company issued shares, represented by Swedish depository receipts, or SDR, to existing shareholders at 1.725 kronor per SDR for a total of 2.5 million euros.

The company also raised 6 million euros in two-year convertible loans from Richard Carter, Myrild, and Nalavio. Under the loan agreements, 25% of the principal could be converted into SDRs every six months.

The company will use the remaining proceeds for general corporate purposes.

CGN Power Issues 2 Billion Yuan of Five-Year Bonds; Hong Kong Shares Up 6%

CGN Power (SHE:003816, HKG:1816) issued a total of 2 billion yuan of five-year medium-term bonds in two tranches with an interest rate of 1.7%, according to a Wednesday filing with the Shenzhen Stock Exchange.The bonds are set to mature Aug. 25, 2031. The issuances represent the fifth and sixth tranches of the company's 2026 medium-term bond program.Bank of China serves as the bookkeeping manager and lead underwriter for the fifth tranche, while Industrial and Commercial Bank of China acted as lead underwriter.China Merchants Bank is the bookkeeping manager and lead underwriter of the sixth tranche, while Ping An Bank is also a lead underwriter.The company's shares jumped 6% in Hong Kong and 4% in Shenzhen during morning trading on Wednesday.
