Generac Holdings (GNRC) acquired a new facility in Belvidere, Illinois, to expand its packaging capacity for large-megawatt generators amid growing demand, the company said Monday.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The acquisition is part of the group's continued investments to scale its commercial and industrial business and is expected to complement Enercon Engineering's operations, which the company acquired in February, according to the statement.
The new facility is set to open in Q1 2027 and is expected to create more than 100 new jobs, Generac added.
