Fubon Financial's (TPE:2881) subsidiary, Fubon Life Insurance, was fined NT$2.4 million by Taiwan's Financial Supervisory Commission for violating provisions of the Insurance Act, according to a Wednesday filing with the Taiwan Exchange.
The penalty was determined during the regulator's review of the insurance business.
The financial services company has reviewed its operations and strengthened its relevant monitoring and control mechanisms.
