Fu-An Heavy Industry's Controlling Shareholder to Offload 10% Stake; Shares Up 10%

Liaoning Fu-An Heavy Industry's (SHA:603315) controlling shareholder, Fuan Holding, plans to divest 10% of the company's stake for 449.2 million yuan, according to a Shanghai bourse filing on Thursday.

Fuan Holding will transfer 32,040,000 shares to Zhuhai Hengqin Caidong Fund Management and Wuhan Zhenguo Private Fund Management. Both investors will hold 5% each.

After the transaction, Fuan Holding's stake will decline to 40.86% from 50.87%, but it will remain as the company's controlling shareholder.

The Chinese large steel castings manufacturer's shares jumped 10% during the morning trade.

Beijing Balance Medical Technology (SHA:688198) plans to repurchase shares worth between 50 million yuan and 100 million yuan, according to a Shanghai bourse filing on Thursday.The company will buy back between 359,583 shares and 719,165 shares, which represents 0.26% to 0.52% of the company's total shares, within 12 months after the approval of the board of directors.The maximum repurchase price will be 139.05 yuan per share.The repurchased shares will be used for the company's employee stock ownership plan or equity incentives.The medical device manufacturer's shares rose 1% during the morning trade.
