FTAI Aviation Joint Venture Receives $1.47 Billion Gas Turbine Generator Set Order

FTAI Aviation (FTAI) said Wednesday its joint venture J&F Power Systems received a roughly $1.47 billion initial order under a new master gas turbine generator set supply agreement with a cloud service provider.

J&F will deliver Mod-1 mobile gas turbine generator sets in batches through November 2027 to support the client's power infrastructure buildout, the company said.

The customer may issue additional purchase orders under the five-year agreement, with payments to be made based on milestones, starting with an advance deposit, the company said. Final settlement amounts are subject to performance adjustments capped at 10% of the equipment's value for lower power output, FTAI added.

Shares of FTAI Aviation were up 7.1% in Wednesday trading.
