Friedrich Vorwerk Group's (VH2.F) subsidiary 5C-Tech agreed to supply its automated PX-II pipeline welding technology for the construction of the Beineu-Bozoy-Shymkent gas pipeline's second line in Kazakhstan.
The project is expected to involve the production of over 28,000 weld joints with a pipe diameter of 42 inches over eight months, the energy infrastructure company said Friday.
The pipeline expansion is being carried out under a partnership between state-owned gas company QazaqGaz and Qatari investors.
