Venture Global (VG) and Greece-based Atlantic-SEE LNG Trade said late Thursday they expanded their existing sales and purchase agreement for US liquefied natural gas.
Under the revised agreement, Atlantic-SEE will double its contracted LNG purchases with Venture Global from a minimum of 0.5 million tonnes per annum to 1.0 million tonnes per annum.
The 20-year agreement is scheduled to begin in 2030, according to a statement.

Equinor's (EQNR.OL) Equinor Brasil Energia agreed to sell a 50% stake in the Itaimbezinho block in the offshore area of the Campos Basin to Petróleo Brasileiro - Petrobras (PJXB.F), according to a Wednesday release.Upon deal closing, the consortium for the Itaimbezinho block will comprise the Norwegian energy company, the operator with a 50% stake, and Petrobras, which holds the remaining 50%.
Awilco LNG (ALNG.OL) said Wednesday its name change to ALNG has been registered with the Norwegian Register of Business Enterprises.Euronext Oslo Børs is set to implement the liquefied natural gas transportation company's name change shortly. The company, meanwhile, will keep its ticker.
