France's quarterly gross domestic product edged down 0.1% in the first quarter, following a 0.2% rise in the prior three-month period, according to final data from Insee published Friday.
The final figure is below the flash estimate of zero growth.
On a yearly basis, the French economy grew 0.9%, against the preliminary reading of 1.1% expansion and the previous 1.3% growth.
