Freehold Royalties (FRU.TO) after trade Wednesday reported second-quarter earnings of C$0.35 per share, up from C$0.04 per share a year earlier.
Analysts polled by FactSet expected C$0.27.
Royalty and other revenue for the quarter ended June 30 was C$100.3 million, up from C$78.3 million a year ago. Corresponding FactSet figures were not available.
The company said its board declared a monthly dividend of C$0.09 per share to be paid on Sept. 15 to shareholders of record on Aug. 31.
