Freegold (FVL.TO) said on Tuesday that results from the Dolphin area of its Golden Summit project in Alaska continue to demonstrate continuity and locally higher-grade mineralization.
Its shares were up 6.6% to C$0.97 on the Toronto Stock Exchange at last look.
Drill highlights include 1.48 grams per tonne (g/t) gold over 176.8 m including 3.09 g/t gold over 45.8 m.
The company, which has six rigs on site that are advancing activities to support an updated mineral resource estimate and pre-feasibility study, said its immediate focus remains on infill drilling and defining mineralized boundaries in the Dolphin-Cleary area.
Golden Summit currently hosts an indicated primary mineral resource of 17.2 million ounces at 1.24 g/t gold and an inferred primary mineral resource of 11.9 million ounces at 1.04 g/t gold.
