Fredonia Mining (FRED.V) closed a bought-deal private placement of shares that raised CA$11.5 million, including the full exercise of the underwriters' option, it said Wednesday.
The company sold underwriters 17.7-million shares priced at CA$0.65 each in the offering.
Proceeds will be used for the exploration and advancement of its El Dorado Monserrat project in Santa Cruz province, Argentina, and for general corporate and working capital needs.
Shares of the company were last seen up CA$0.01, or 1.3%, to CA$0.77 on the TSX Venture Exchange.
