Ford Motor's (F) total US vehicle sales fell 10.3% in August to 170,681 vehicles from 190,206 a year earlier.
Internal combustion vehicle sales fell 4.6% to 153,444, hybrid sales dropped almost 20% to 15,040, and electric vehicle sales slumped 79% to 2,197, the company said Wednesday.

American Healthcare REIT (AHR) completed the acquisitions of six Kensington Senior Living communities comprising 464 units for $572 million.Two additional communities are subject to definitive purchase agreements and are expected to close in Q4, subject to conditions, American Healthcare said Tuesday in a statement.The full eight-community portfolio has 745 units with an aggregate contract purchase price of $873 million, the company said. Kensington will continue operating the communities after the closings.The transaction establishes a long-term strategic partnership, American Healthcare said.American Healthcare shares rose 3.6% in after-hours trading.
