Focus Graphite (FMS.V) established a secured revolving line of credit facility of up to CA$2 million with Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (CM.TO, CM), it said in a statement on Monday.
Under the facility, amounts drawn bear interest at CIBC's prime rate plus 2.00% per annum. Principal amounts borrowed and subsequently repaid may be re-borrowed, it said.
"Our intention is to use the Facility as a working-capital bridge, reduce borrowings as approved government contributions are received and recycle that availability into subsequent phases of work where appropriate," said Focus Graphite Chief Executive Officer Dean Hanisch.
Shares of the company closed unchanged at CA$0.415 on Friday on the TSX Venture Exchange.
