FinVolution (FINV) shares fell around 16% on Friday, a day after the company posted lower Q2 earnings and revenue.
The company reported fiscal Q2 adjusted earnings late Thursday of 1.97 renminbi ($0.29) per American Depositary share, down from 2.97 renminbi a year earlier.
Revenue for the three months ended June 30 was 3.40 billion renminbi, down from 3.58 billion renminbi a year earlier.
The company reaffirmed its full-year 2026 revenue of 11.5 billion renminbi to 12.9 billion renminbi. Analysts polled by FactSet expect 12.17 billion renminbi.
